Karen's Pet Grooming is a full service pet salon located in Camp Springs, MD. We provide a full range of pet grooming and bathing services to meet your needs. We have been in business at the same location since 1989. Our experienced groomers are highly trained across all breeds and understand how to properly groom your pets.
Bathing
Shampoo and conditioner is applied up to three times if required. During the bath we will express the anal glands.
Drying
This step typically takes the longest depending on the coat length and type.
Ears
We take the extra time to clean and/or pluck your pets ears.
Nails
We trim toe nails taking extra care not to cut too close.
Grooming
We understand the needs of all different types of breeds and take your own personal preferences into account
Finishing
The last step includes the fine scissoring and detail work (including a favorite color bow!)
Pre-Bath
We prep your pet before their bath making sure to get out any mats or tangles

The types of shampoo and conditioner your groomer uses on your pet is important. We select and use only the highest quality products on your pet.
Shampoo
Tearless formula is gentle on your pets eyes yet is tough on dirt and smells. It will help protect the natural oils in the skin to leave your pets coat bright and shiny with no harsh chemicals like bleach or peroxide.
Oatmeal and Baking Soda Shampoo
This shampoo is another tearless formula with infused oat protein, natural baking soda and aloe vera. It leaves the skin extra moisturized – perfect if your pet suffes from itchy skin and/or allergies.
Flea and Tick Shampoo
Our flea and tick shampoo is mild on the skin but very effective on killing fleas and ticks. Combine this shampoo with the expert eyes of our groomers looking your pets over your pet will be flea and tick free. But don’t forget that just one flea can jump right back on them in your car, yard, or home.
Conditioner
Our lite-n-easy conditioner with aloe vera helps to leave your pet’s skin and coat soft and manageable.
